Book one: Time and Heart Break [Modern Au] Ciel phantomhive love story
  • After eating breakfast Serena helped her adoptive father with what was needed in their basement to be able to make Ciel be seen. When everything was set up Serena chanted a small spell with her adoptive father as Ciel was in the middle of the circle. Afterwards Serena was told to give him the new clothes and meet up outside on the porch. Serena nodded her head and took Ciel to where she was told the clothes were before they went to the empty room where she placed the clothes on the floor before she took them all out before she saw what her adoptive father picked out. She then looked at Ciel who looked very unamused.
  • "You don't know how to undress yourself do you?" Sarina asked
  • "You know the answer to that question."
  • She sighed out before she picked out clothes for him to wear, afterwards she got up and undressed him of the clothes he wore. She refused to stare at him at all as she was doing so. Once his old clothes were off she dressed him in the clothes that were gotten for him. He was stunned to see that the shoes that he wore didn't tie up they were slip on shoes. Once he was fully dressed he was going to leave but she stopped him. "Wait Ciel-I'm not done with you yet."
  • "What on earth do you mean by that?"
  • "Uh...Your hair...you look like you just got out of a closet."
  • He averted his eyes. "Fine, go on Sarina."
  • She brushed his hair gently before she handed him an eyepatch. "Here, you should keep your right eye covered Ciel. It'll keep people from questioning your eye."
  • He placed it on and he gave her a weak smile. "Thank you."
  • She nodded her head before she went ahead of him and gone down the stairs to place her shoes on. Once she had her shoes on he had came downstairs and met up with her on the porch. The three of them then left out afterwards, as the elder male drove them he looked at Ciel from the rear view mirror. "I want to place this out there Ciel, I don't trust you around my adoptive daughter. Even if you have been on a good behavior it doesn't mean that it won't change after time."
  • "I can assure you that I don't mean harm to Serena, but think what you will about me." Ciel said with a shrug
  • "So Father...may I ask, just what is the limit amount for the bed set for the room Ciel and I will be sharing?"
  • "You don't have one, I want you to go into the store knowing that whatever bedset you feel would be best for you, you'll be able to have without a worry."
  • She nodded her head before they got to the store, the three of them went in and Sarina looked around before she saw the perfect bed set, she went up to the bed and sat on it before she lied down and let out a small relief sigh. Her adoptive father went up to her and smiled. "Is this what you'd like Serena?"
  • Serena nodded her head. "Yes, this way both of us have our own little space and we'll be able to have space for other stuffs."
  • "Stay put." He said before he walked off
  • Ciel climbed up onto the bed. "This is an interesting choice for you to make. I have to ask, is it because of me that you chose something that is in this style?"
  • "Yes, I want you to feel at home...anyways I don't think that my father understands what it means to place us in the same room together."
  • "You believe it was wrong for him to do so?"
  • "I believe my father is ignorant to the fact that the reason Justina did what she had was to prove me wrong on something that I had jokingly said to her."
  • Ciel raised an eyebrow at her. "Do I even want to know?"
  • "No...no you don't."
  • At that time her father came back and smiled at Serena. "Looks like we'll be getting everything later today. So let's get back home."
  • Serena nodded her head and the three of them went home together, while they were on their way home Serena's adoptive fathers phone went off. He looked at Sarina as they got to a red light. "Can you answer it? It might be Nile."
  • Serena nodded her head. "Sure thing father." She said before she got the phone and answered it. "Hello?"
  • "Hey Serena, where's dad?"
  • "Father is driving Ciel and I back home."
  • "Ahn, gotcha. So I was able to talk to Tyler...and I swear if that little * wasn't in the damn slammer right now I would have beat the * out of him. I'll tell you and father everything when you guys get back. I'm already back."
  • "Okay we're about ten minutes until we get to the house Nile."
  • "Alright then. I'll see you guys when you get home. See ya sis."
  • "See ya Nile."
  • She then hung up the phone and looked at her adoptive father. "Looks like Nile wasn't happy with what he had found out by Tyler. He's waiting for us at home."
  • "Very well, we'll have to make sure to talk to Nile when we get home."
  • Ciel noticed just how little compassion those who Serena lived with actually had for her which made him question just what type of family she was adopted into. After they had gotten home Ciel chose to look through the books that Serena had once more while Serena and her adoptive father gathered everyone so they could all hear what had happened with Nile when he had met up with Tyler in prison. Once everyone was sitting in the living room Nile had to take a deep breath before he spoke up.
  • "I want to first say-Serena was right to speak up when she had. Tyler spilled- alot to me and I didn't even realize how much he had looked up to me till then. I took my recorder with me so all of you can hear what exactly he had said to me-he and I were able to see each other face to face so he had no idea I even had it with me."
  • All of them nodded their head as they were silent to hear what had been said between Tyler and Nile.
  • "Nile! Bro you came back, how was working in the army dude?"
  • "Shut up about the pleasantries. I heard what you did to Rena. You sick son of a *. Why the * did you think it'd be okay for you to go and rape the youngest? Sure she's adopted but she IS part of our family. I know that since she has came into the family you aren't the youngest anymore. But that doesn't give you good damn reason to do that to her. Do you have any idea how emotionally damaging and psychologically that's going to * her up in the future? She's going to have a hard time trusting males and if she does trust them there is a very slim chance anyone would ever get THAT close to her."
  • Tyler scoffed. "I don't care that I'm not the youngest in the house anymore, what I care about is that she killed mother. How can you be okay with that?!"
  • "Let me ask you a few questions then I'll answer that."
  • "Okay?"
  • "Who was driving mom or her?"
  • "Mom."
  • "And before they left out-what had happened?"
  • Tyler was quiet for a bit, then Nile spoke up again. "I'm waiting..."
  • "Serena was complaining about not wanting to go out since it was raining heavily, she didn't want anything bad to happen."
  • "You do realize that Sarina was hospitalized because of what happened. Sure we lost mother but mother treated her worse than father does. Hell we as her siblings adoptive or not-treat her worse than mother does. Tell me does it make sense to blame someones death onto someone who didn't want to leave AND warned them to begin with?
  • "N-No..."
  • "So why the * did you rape Serena?"
  • "She isn't blood related-so I figured it wouldn't matter if she was raped. Obviously I was wrong, father has his head so far up his ass with *. Like-he can careless about that girl if something good comes up for her. Like if she has her chorus concerts or her band concerts all because he's 'busy' but the moment she gets hurt once-that's all it takes for him to go full father bear on the child like she's his damn blood child or something. I hate that he never gave her the same attention we got, so I did something about it. * just wasn't right. I know I could have done something differently but...I just didn't know what to do."
